Designed a suite of ads while reducing excessive loading times when opening original source files.
The issue I faced was excessive loading time when opening these documents and processor lag when trying to make changes.
I was tasked with updating content and creating new sizes across 21 different ad units. The working asset file took minutes to load and any changes took additional time process. These excessive lag times was not conducive to a quick, efficient workflow.
I decided to recreate each of the ads into individual, manageable Photoshop files.
As a result, I was able to cut down on the time it took to open files to make changes and cut the overall file sizes by more than half. This allowed me to make changes, address feedback, and deliver final creative efficiently and effectively ahead of deadline.
