Corporate Branding

As Creative Director of Communications at Zynga, I was responsible for managing brand identity along with directing and executing visual corporate communications materials including social media, email, partnerships, advertising, and products.

My Role:
  • Developed and maintained a comprehensive set of brand guidelines that reflect our brand identity, including brand values, voice, tone, visual style, logo usage, typography, color palette, and other key elements.
  • Collaborated, supported, and partnered with Product and Marketing along with other cross-functional teams to create visual assets that bring personality, narrative, and visual consistency to creative assets while communicating the company vision.
  • Managed and owned multiple design projects from conception to delivery, concurrently, ensuring timely delivery, and a high standard of quality.
  • Provided direction and mentorship.
  • Managed company creative assets for internal and external use.
  • Created business-critical communication assets including building presentation decks for the company, its customers, and partners.
  • Supported video/motion pieces.
  • Retouched and edited all forms of imagery as needed, including creating mockup of products and branded environments.

Identity Guide

I was responsible for updating the corporate brand guide. The new guide gave employees access to updated information that helped reduce email traffic regarding brand questions.

I collaborated with multiple game studios to curate assets in order to create branding materials that would be used in in corporate communications and hiring materials.


Digital Ads

I partnered with Zynga's internal Ads team to design and templatize a suite of IAB standardized ad units (35 ads total) to highlight the department's research study results.


Social

As Creative Director of Communications, my role was to produce various social media graphics highlighting corporate announcements, holiday events, and employee spotlights.

One of my responsibilities was standardizing Zynga's brand across social platforms. I designed Zynga's LinkedIn cover photo using character art across multiple game studios to reinforce Zynga's brand as a light-hearted, fun to work at, interactive entertainment company. Mergers & Acquistions




One of my responsibilities was to create and package visual assets for media outlets to support corporate communications including game announcements and mergers & acquisitions.


Presentation Toolkit


I was in charge of churning out corporate presentations either from scratch or based of loosely wire framed slides. I created a corporate presentation toolkit comprised of slides containing regularly used assets, art work and information. As a result I was able to streamline my workflow, allowing me to build decks faster and more efficiently ahead of deadlines.


Print Banners

Working closely with Zynga's Talent Acquisition team, I conceptualized and designed eye-catching retractable banners as visual supports for their off-site hiring events.


Other Corporate Branding

My role as Lead Designer of Corporate Marketing at Jam City was to manage brand identity, as well as work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to produce creative assets for corporate, partnerships, marketing, social, and employee facing requests.
